About us

ENGLISH

An Cafe Latin America (ACLA), is the UNOFFICIAL Fan Club and Street Team of the Japanese band Antic Cafe in Latin America, founded in May 2012 by fans.

Our aim is to spread the music of An Cafe along all Latin American countries, and to make a connection with FC/ST of the band around the world.

We also provide support in everything which is possible for us to any FC/ST of An Cafe in Latin America, regardless of the country it is from.

We also translate songs, entries of the official blog of the band, tweets from the members, messages on their Facebook page, and we try to keep updated all cafekkos and all cafe-os on the activities of An Cafe.

We make several projects during the year, to spread the music of the band, or because of special dates (An Cafe members' birthdays, concerts, holidays, and more).

There is no requirement to be a member of ACLA, more than to be cafekko or cafe-o. Any fan is free to join our group on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, or like our page.

We are not "official", since the band nor their staff have never recognized as official any FC/ST outside Japan. The only official fan club is "FC BondS", exclusively for people residing in Japan and who pay a fee. In ACLA we not charge anyone for membership.
However, the band members know about the existence of ACLA and several of our activities.

Although we are not an official FC, we have a small staff with representatives from several countries in Latin America (currently there are members of Argentina, Chile, Ecuador and Mexico). No member of staff receives anything in return for the work carried out. Nobody makes money by doing this, nor receive any special treatment.

The role of the staff is to search for news, to translate, to inform, to maintain order in the different social networks of ACLA, to plan projects and/or events, and, if it is possible, to interact with members of An Cafe and/or their staff on behalf of all the fans in Latin America.
